Your Role:
As our Purchase Coordinator, your mission is to optimize procurement processes and contribute to operational excellence. In this dynamic role, you will manage the purchase team, oversee smooth purchase order flows, and collaborate seamlessly with Product Development, Finance, and Sales. If you are ambitious, creative, and customer-oriented, your journey with us involves multitasking, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the purchase team, fostering growth and efficiency.
- Manage the entire purchase order flow, ensuring swift approval processes.
- Distribute vendor management reports, facilitating collaboration across departments.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to optimize stock availability in distribution centers.
- Develop negotiation tactics in partnership with Product Development.
- Monitor purchase costs, ensuring optimal cost-efficiency.
- Prioritize outstanding purchase orders in collaboration with our Purchasers.
- Ensure the seamless operation of the Slim4 software.
- Stay updated on industry developments in the field of Purchasing.
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive positive changes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with vendors to maintain synergies and excellence alignment.
- Strive for operational excellence, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
What we are looking for:
What We Seek in an Ideal Candidate:
The perfect candidate: - Holds a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Procurement or a related field.
- Brings a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Communicates effectively in English (both written and spoken); Dutch proficiency is an advantage.
- Possesses advanced MS Office skills and knowledge of ERP systems and processes.
- Demonstrates a strong eye for detail and well-developed analytical skills.
- Embraces continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Exhibits excellent organizational skills, decisiveness, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Bonus points if you have worked with Slim4 or hold a NEVI degree.
