XD Connects is currently integrating with two other companies in our industry to become the largest player in Europe. This means we are reorganizing our ESG team and looking to add a new member.
The position that we are currently recruiting for is ‘Social Impact Coordinator’.
The position of Social Impact Coordinator is a role in which you have a high level of responsibility for Social topics in the supply chain, KPI’s and projects within the Social Pillar of the ESG team. In this position you report to the ESG Director and have frequent interaction with team members in Europe and in Asia, working together to reach your team goals. In the ESG team the main communication language is English. 
As this is a newly created role you will have the opportunity to help shape the Social pillar approach. There is a requirement to travel once a year to Asia. 

Key words that make you a good fit are:

• WO or HBO+ level
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sustainability/ESG role, preferably a CSR role
• Experience in International commercial work environment
• Knowledge of Social audits, Human Rights standards, ESG reporting standards
• Working experience within a commercial company (preference: international or wholesale)
• Taking initiative and working independently
• Team player & hands-on approach
• Open personality
• Organized and structured
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented
• Strong sense of integrity
• Some experience with project management
• Affinity with products
• Fluent in English (word & writing), proficiency in Dutch (not a strict requirement)

In this role your main tasks will be:

• Managing Social goals and KPI’s 
• Ensuring smooth data collection and processing 
• Project coordination and contribution on social data for reporting purposes
• Work in alignment with Human Rights legislation & standards
• Social Risk identification and management 
• Working closely with colleagues in Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Shanghai
• Contributing to internal and external communications for the Social pillar
• Keeping policies, manuals, website content and relevant documentation up to date
• Identify and propose improvements
